Blog: Family 2
You know, I really thought I'd have lots of deep insights about life working on my own schedule and life working on other peoples clock. In practice though the difference between not having to get up at a specific time and having to get up slightly earlier than usual for safety is pretty minuscule.
Also don't have many revelations about having to work directly with people and... well, not having to talk to other people in order to do my job.
In conclusion I may not actually be as ill suited to function in the adult world as I had previously thought. I'm glad to have had a month of being forced to leave my home office and I'm definitely glad of the extra money (especially after I found out just how little I was being paid for script reports in relation to other readers).
I work hard for the money.
