This week I've been experimenting with making getting up in the cold less unbearable. I've tried making my alarm tone inspirational music, I've tried sleeping with my dressing gown closer to my bed so I can put it on quicker, I've tried putting my phone in harder to reach places so I'm a bit more warmed up and awake by the time I turn off my alarm. All of my research has informed me that it doesn't matter, having to wake up in the morning during autumn/winter is always going to be horrid. In conclusion I am however having some promising results from waking up, snoozing and then putting my storage heater on for 10 minutes before I have to get up properly.
