Consumerism

Blog: Consumerism

So I flip flop pretty frequently about Facebook causes. From sharing pages or petitions about causes to self righteous posts that seem to only be good for spreading indignation, for whatever reason I have trouble distinguishing them. Maybe it's because I'm generally ignorant of world events and acceptable social behaviour in general. The point is I have a bad habit of tarring with the same brush so to speak. In conclusion I think I just need to development my emotional intelligence. In hindsight it's always pretty easy to see the motivations of people posting “causes”. Good intentions are usually passionate but have a certain understated feel to them. Attention seeking is very considerate in as much as it has the good grace to be obvious. In even more conclusion; what conclusion have I really reached in this blog post?

It's the final countdown.
