Blog: Cartoon Food
Call me obscure but personally I think zombies are a very underrated genre. Like them or not you have to admit, they're just not being represented frequently enough in films, television and video games (the jury's still out on radio).
Obligatory pop at zombies in pop culture done with, time to move on with the important matter of half-arsing a blog post. First things first, I enjoy eating meat off the bone, but I didn't when I was younger. I don't know what it was that caused the switch but, all I know is one day I hated eating meat off the bone and the next I'm looking for good quality ribs at competitive prices. When I was a kid I always though turkey legs and huge non-specific anime meat on a bone, looked like the tastiest thing that ever existed. Of course the problem was that it never existed but try telling that to 10 year old who was oblivious to the lack of realism in Dragon Ball Z.
I think the reality / fiction divide in my perception of meat on the bone was probably instrumental in forming my long standing indifference to reality. Something that seems amazing in a fictional context doesn't pan out in real life. In all honesty I'd love to go to Canada some day but I'm terrified it won't live up to the expectations of a novelty hockey jersey wearing, Scott Pilgrim reading, Barenaked Ladies listening fan boy. Woe is me indeed.
In conclusion I never noticed this before but, for whatever reason, in the last panel Ed's comic doesn't have a bar code and blurb on the back cover. I don't know why I never got round to drawing that in and how I missed it for so long but, there we go.
Let them eat BRAINS!!!!!
